Sheila Woods, MD, FAAP
Dr. Sheila Woods is a board-certified pediatrician and has been practicing medicine for over 35 years. She feels privileged to practice with Dr. Heather Brannon as Greenville ADHD Specialists, P.A. Dr. Woods is dedicated to the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults struggling with ADHD. She sees patients ages 4 through 25. She completed University of Kentucky College of Medicine and University of Kentucky Pediatric Internship and Residency. In her 30 years of general pediatric practice, she spent 12 years in private practice settings and 18 years as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky. A turning point in her career was her selection to participate in a Mini-Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology offered by the Department of Child Psychiatry at Columbia University in New York. This sparked her current passion of taking care of patients with behavioral health issues and especially ADHD. Dr. Woods believes success in learning is so important to children and their families, as it sets the stage for a fulfilling future, but in some patients, that success can be very difficult to attain. Her commitment to evaluate and design individual treatment plans for children, adolescents, and their families is unparalleled in the Greenville, SC area.
Dr. Woods is a mother to three beautiful daughters and a “Mimi” to grandchildren. She enjoys spending her free time traveling, reading books, and visiting the beach.
